POWER PUNCH

  • Cushion Seal Chain Saw Chain and Bar Oil

Since the early 1960's Power Punch has been producing this high strength, superior value lubricant for chain saw bars and hedge trimmers. Professionals know that the value of equipment and supplies are not just what you pay for them, but how much work can be done for the dollar expended. In this light Cushion Seal Bar and Chain Oil shows it's superiority over less expensive oils. While substantially less can be spent on bar oil, when the life the equipment figures in to the equation, Cushion Seal comes out on top. Special additive technologies allow Cushion Seal to continue to lubricate and prevent corrosion well after other oils are scorched and scraped from the bearing surfaces.

Tree service professionals run their chain saws hard and know that when the chain gets hot both it and the bar have a much-reduced life. Cushion Seal Bar Oil's far superior film strength will reduce heat build up and will keep lubricating even in the presence of elevated temperatures. Preventing the annealing that can result from extreme heat build up allows the chain to remain sharp longer and stops the bar softening and gouging. When you weigh the cost of a new bar and chain against a gallon of oil, it is hard to justify the "savings" of lesser oils.

Another dividend of this superior technology can be realized by any chain saw user speed. Heated metal is softer and wears much more rapidly. The cutting efficiency of the saw teeth and the strength of the chain are adversely affected as it gets hotter. When a chain has been overheated by ineffective bar oil the time until the chain dulls is substantially shortened. Keeping the chain sharp will speed the cutting time and require less effort. On top of that no one wants to think about what kind of risk an overheated, broken saw chain can pose when flying through the air at almost 100 miles and hour!
